Planning & Monitoring Division
The Planning Division of the Ministry is mainly entrusted with the responsibility of developing new initiatives in the field of water supply and sanitation & reviewing and reporting the progress of on-going projects & programmes of the institutions under the Ministry .
DUTY LIST OF PLANNING DIVISION
Preparation of the Annual Action Plan of the Ministry
- Preparation of the Annual Performance Report & submission for the parliament
Preparation of the Progress Report and Investment Plan & submission for the parliament
Organizing monthly progress review meetings to monitor the projects and programmes implemented by the institutions under the Ministry
Preparation of the quarterly progress reports according to the Action Plan of the Ministry and submit them to the Project Management & Monitoring Department
- Organizing field visits & Reviews for the main projects
Review the new project proposals submitted by institutions coming under the Ministry
Monitor & review programmes & projects implemented under the Government Budget and other funding sources provided by the Ministry, NWS&DB, WRB
