Planning Division

The Planning Division of the Ministry is mainly entrusted with the responsibility of developing new initiatives in the field of water supply and sanitation & reviewing and reporting the progress of on-going projects & programmes of the institutions under the Ministry .

DUTY LIST OF PLANNING DIVISION

  • Preparation of the Annual Action Plan of the Ministry

  • Preparation of the Annual Performance Report & submission for the parliament
  • Preparation of the Progress Report and Investment Plan & submission for the parliament

  • Organizing monthly progress review meetings to monitor the projects and programmes implemented by the institutions under the Ministry

  • Preparation of the quarterly progress reports according to the Action Plan of the Ministry and submit them to the Project Management & Monitoring Department

  • Organizing field visits & Reviews for the main projects
  • Review the new project proposals submitted by institutions coming under the Ministry

  • Monitor & review programmes & projects implemented under the Government Budget and other funding sources provided by the Ministry, NWS&DB, WRB
